Move far beyond general adaptations for maternity massage in 32 hour comprehensive workshop. Learn 80+ advanced techniques specifically developed to enhance pregnant, laboring, and postpartum women's comfort, health and enjoyment. Practice and receive personalized feedback in deep tissue, passive movement, neuromuscular, reflexive, positional release, and other somatic methods modified for emotional, structural, and physiological challenges of the childbearing year.

•	WORKSHOP PARTICULARS
	•	Prerequisites and Preparation
	•	This certification workshop is paced for experienced graduates of 500+hour diversified somatic programs. Other perinatal professionals are admitted with instructor approval. Advance reading of Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapy and anatomical review are required.
	•	Educational Philosophy
	•	Instruction will engage your auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning strengths. Detailed demonstrations, individualized tableside assistance,generous practice segments, a practicum with pregnant women, and a graphically rich 180 page student handbook guarantee your assimilation of techniques. Engaging discussions and lectures reinforce the theoretical foundations elaborated in the text and supplemental materials.
	
•	Evaluation and Certification
	•	Body Therapy Associates grants certification with satisfactory performance on both theoretical and practical evaluations. Most students complete within the four workshop days; however, some require further time to adequately absorb course material.
	•	Dates, Times, and Tuition
	•	Workshop meets four days 9AM to 6PM, for 32 contact hours. Tuitions is $625. A non-refundable deposit of 50% received one month prior to workshop will reserve registration and insure an early enrollment discount. Tuition includes a 180 page student handbook detailing procedures plus extensive supplemental materials. Textbook must be purchased in addition to tuition. Tuition is not refundable for workshops cancelled due to strikes, labor disputes, acts of God, or conditions beyond our control.
